What Bursly is
Bursly is two things that share one account.
The browser extension
A small badge in the toolbar that lights up when you are at a shop we work with. Click it to see the current discount codes and activate cashback with one click. Works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Safari is coming.
The app
Every code and deal in your pocket, with search, categories and a store overview. Copy the code with one tap and go straight to the shop. If you are signed in, the cashback comes along. iPhone and Android.
Both use your account at Sparebørsen, or its sister service in your country. No new account, no new passwords.
How it works
- ConnectGet a pairing code in the app or on your account page and type it into the extension. The code lives for five minutes and can be used once. The extension never sees your password.
- Shop as usualWhen you are at a shop we work with, the badge in the toolbar lights up. Open it to see the codes that apply right now.
- Activate it yourselfPress "Activate cashback". The click is registered on your account before you are sent on to the shop. Bursly never does this on its own.
Cashback is calculated from the shop's own rate, the same one shown on Sparebørsen. We show no figures we cannot stand behind.
Privacy, in short
- The extension never reads the content of the pages you visit. No text, no form fields, no shopping cart.
- It only knows the hostname in the address bar, for example komplett.no, and uses it locally to check whether the shop is a partner.
- Nothing leaves your device until you press a button yourself. Then the address of the tab you are on is sent, together with a device token that can only register clicks.
- No ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking across websites.
- You can remove a browser from your account at any time. It stops working the same second.
