How it works

Three steps, then it is done

You do one thing at setup and one thing per purchase. The rest happens on your account.

  1. Connect the account

    Get a pairing code in the Spareb酶rsen app or on your account page and type it into Bursly. The code lives for five minutes and is used once. Bursly never sees your password.

  2. Shop as usual

    At shops we work with, the badge in the toolbar lights up. Open it, copy a code if there is one, and press Activate cashback before you pay.

  3. Cashback lands

    The purchase shows up on your account once the shop has confirmed it. You see the amount, the rate and the status all the way until the money is available.

Bursly stays quiet until it has something to say. The badge only lights up at shops we work with, and the panel shows what applies where you are.

Browse, search and copy. If you are signed in, the cashback comes along when you go on to the shop.

  • Search for a shop or an item, filter by category, or show codes only.
  • Copy the code with one tap. It is ready at checkout.
  • Go to the shop from the app, and the click is registered on your account.
Privacy

We see less than you think. On purpose.

An extension that knows which shop you are in has to earn that trust. So Bursly is built without content scripts, and nothing leaves your device until you press a button.

What Bursly sees

  • The hostname in the address bar, for example lindex.no. It is used locally to check whether the shop is a partner.
  • The address of the tab you are on, but only when you press Activate cashback.
  • Your first name, taken from your account when you connect.

What Bursly never sees

  • The content of the pages you visit. No text, no form fields, no shopping cart.
  • Your history, your searches or your other tabs.
  • Your password. The account is connected with a one-time code, and the token Bursly gets cannot withdraw money.

What people ask

Where do I find the pairing code?

In the Spareb酶rsen app: Profile, then Bursly. On the web: My account, then Browsers. The code is eight characters, lives for five minutes and is used once.

The badge does not light up at a shop

Either the shop is not a partner in your market, or the browser is not connected. Open the panel and see whether it asks you to connect.

I activated, but see no cashback

Cashback is registered once the shop has confirmed the purchase, which can take from a few days to several weeks. Press Activate cashback before adding items to the cart, and shop in the same tab. Other extensions, such as ad blockers, can override the tracking.

How do I remove a browser?

In the app: Profile, Bursly, Connected browsers, Remove. On the web: My account, Browsers. If you change your password, all connected browsers are removed at once.

What rate do I get?

The rate the shop actually pays, the same one shown on Spareb酶rsen. If the rate varies between product groups, we show the lowest and say "from".

Is the app the same account as Spareb酶rsen?

Yes. Sign in with the same email and password, or create an account in the app.
